Please read for System Installations Pictures 1, 2 and 3 show a Dierks Anchor System installed on a wood boat with the center mount Anchor Release AR-1-TP-2, hand piece RB864 and 2 PB-4 pulleys. Pictures 4 shows an installation on an aluminum boat with the Side Anchor Release SA-5-TP-2, hand piece RB864 and 1 PB-4 pulley (2 pulleys is normal). Picture 5 shows the Bow Anchor Release BR-32. Picture 6 shows a side mount anchor system installed on a fiberglass boat. The Side Anchor Release allows the use of a motor. Another option for an anchor system is to use either of the anchor arms with jam cleats. Model numbers are AR-12 and SA-52. These would require turning around and probably standing up to hoist the anchor.

Dierks Foot Release Anchor System

This is Dierks version of the famous Bo's Foot Release system. It consists of the FP08- Foot Release Pedal, the BM4B- Bottom Mount Pulley Block and the AR1FM6-Center Mount Anchor Arm with the FM6 Front Mount Pulley (see the components below.)

The Foot Pedal, of course, mounts at your feet with the rope passing through it along the bottom of the boat (I would run it through plastic pipe) to the Bottom Mount Pulley Block which is mounted at the bottom of the transom, weld or bolt. Then up to the pulley on the anchor arm which extends back enough to clear the transom.

Convert Your Anchor Arm to the Side Pull System

If you have a Dierks Anchor Arm with Jam Cleat, you can convert it to the Side Pull System (see pictures above) with these parts. Just replace the Jam Cleat on the anchor arm with the TP2 pulley and put the jam cleat on the Hand Piece and mount as shown in the pictures above, mount the PB4 pulleys on the gunnel and you will have the Cadilac of anchor systems. Works with either the Side mount or Center mount anchor arms.
